Also, cap pulls off the real needle applicator! - This is a bit embarrassing to admit, but when I first opened the desertcart box, I thought they had sent me the wrong product, as it looked like the large long plastic tip WAS the applicator (and I almost cut the tip off!). Somehow before I ruined it and complained about receiving a plastic applicator, I realized the plastic part was just the cap, which simply pulls off. Oops! The metal applicator works quite well for tiny parts, although it's still possible to use too much glue, so you do have to be careful. But this is WAY better than the old goopy glue in a tube. The glue itself fused my plastic model parts very well. The absolute best part was mentioned by another reviewer: it's possible to easily unclog the applicator when the glue in the applicator inevitably dries up. Mine was plugged up on only the third time I tried to use it, so I followed the advice here and was quickly back in business! In case you missed the advice, simply pull off the metal needle applicator (you MUST remove it from the large flammable bottle!!!!), hold it with some tweezers, and hold a flame under it until a small blow-torch flame comes out the plugged end. Let it cool a bit, put it back in the bottle, and then you're good to go. This prevented a potential ENORMOUS amount of waste. Great product!!

**Q: Is this price for 1 item? If so why over 60 dollars?**
A: I don't remember the exact price I paid but it must have been a third of what's advertised. Definitely not worth 60$

**Q: Has anyone used this on plastic models? If so,how long does it take to set?**
A: It's just a typical set time for model glue. It's no faster that Tamiya Testor or other model cement. Think it shipped from the UK when I bought mine so it took a long time to get it. Don't know if that's the case now it was a year or two ago

**Q: does this glue cause crazing or clouding on clear plastic windows, etc.? What is the ingredient in it?**
A: You can use it on clear parts if you clear coat the parts first. I use this glue and rarely had any trouble using it on clear parts. Revell makes a clear parts glue, try Googling that...good luck!

**Q: Does this have a horrible odor like the Tamiya cement?**
A: I haven't noticed any especially strong odor from the Revell cement, certainly nothing I would describe as "horrible."  Of course, as I have gotten older, my wife says that I seem to be losing my sense of smell.

While its more of a cement than a glue it works great but can take a bit to get used to using it. The best thing to remember when using this is to not over apply as it can damage the model you are building, remember this melts the plastic to weld it together so over applying it can melt the mini too much and make it a very difficult fix. After having used this to build around 35 models I would definitely recommend this applicator.
