Also bought another pair from another vendor in a shiny black lacquer but am returning those as those are made of plastic with a vinyl wrap along the soles and cheap poly straps listed as cotton. These are wooden with decent velvet straps and look and feel much more authentic. Hope to mop the floor with these and not leave footprints. Was initially concerned that I’d fall on my face but they feel much more solid than I imagined. Might even wash the car in these.
