## Description

CMS MAGNETICS - 12x12 Green Magnetic Flux Viewing Film for Revealing Hidden Magnetic Field Patterns in Permanent Magnets for Science Projects, Research and STEM Education in Magnetism: Magnetism Science Kits: desertcart.com: Industrial & Scientific

## Features

- SIZE & FILM TYPE - 12x12 Inch single color Green Film.
- GREEN FILM - Metal nano-particles suspended in an oil that tilts in reaction to a magnetic field in close proximity to the film. Light bounces off the tilt of these nano-particles towards your eye to review the hidden magnetic patterns of that magnet. Different magnet shapes will give off different magnetic field patterns. This film is green but will showcase different shading of the green based on the tilt of the nano-particle positions.
- SHELF LIFE & LAMINATION - Because these films are created with tiny nano-particles suspended in a liquid, over time the effectiveness of the film may decrease. You can increase this shelf life by having your film laminated to prevent leakage, scratches, and other damages to the film.
- REUSE, RESET - Both films are reusable, but the olive film will have a much longer shelf life than the green film. The olive film automatically resets itself, while the green film may need to be reset by quickly swiping a magnet parallel to the film several times. These products are offered in various sizes that best suit your needs. We also have a portable wallet size pvc card of the olive film. The films can be laminated to increase the life of the film and protect it from bending and damage.
- APPLICATIONS & GIFTING - These films have a multitude of creative applications. They are one of the best STEM educational activities to introduce students to the science and magic of magnetism. They're great for science projects and serve as a teaching tool for teachers in the classrooms. They also make great gifts for any age and gender. The recipients will spend countless hours having fun exploring and revealing hidden invisible natural forces they never knew existed. Give the gift of magic.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I've previously purchased 5 sheets of 8x12" viewing sheets. I need to buy another 5 of those, or at least 8x8". Will they be available or purchase?**
A: yes, they are available for sale but I don't have the list any more. but you can buy 20 pieces of 6x4" and call us so we can cut to the right size since they are equal area. but be sure to call us so we can have the right size for you 972-516-0692

**Q: Is any option to deliver in India?**
A: we don't ship Internationally for Amazon.

**Q: is it a permanent picture like photo film or does it go away with enough time**
A: Its like a liquid crystal sheet. The magnetic image goes away; yet there is a slight memory in the picture. As soon as you bring it up to another magnet, that "ghost image" of the prior viewing goes away. This is very amazing stuff. You can really see a 3D structure of the field as you move close and away from your magnet source. One drawback is gauss responsivity. In other words, I dont thing fields below say 10 guass respond on the film. I will test this later.

**Q: What are those little balls in the picture?**
A: there is no little balls. they are magnets but not spheres.
