The threads are nicely cut and the collet that came with this seem well finished. HOWEVER, either the collet isn't cut straight or the chuck isn't drilled straight where the collet sits causing a large degree of offset at the end of the bit, I'm talking an average of about .300mm here. The last photo is with a small piece of tungsten carbide stock which has only .001 on it in it's entire length. Maybe I recieved a defective one?
