The remote control is easy to use and the robot moves well on carpet and laminate. It didn't take long for the robot to get annoying though. Every time it moves, it tells you the direction in which it is moving. So every time you hit a button it goes "slide forward", "step backward", " turn right", etc. The robot doesn't move but a few inches each time the button is pushed so you can see how annoying this could be. My daughter likes the music that plays while the robot dances.
