(I wear this to the pool, also wear it when working in the yard). Lanyard is handy; can either use it or tuck it up top when not in use. Wire frame around perimeter helps rim hold shape and also allows you to reform if it gets dented. I got almost a years worth of hard use out of this before it just got too ratty due to my own lack of care.
