(no evidence of previous use-- the wires were perfectly straight, no blemishes anywhere)If any degrade prematurely, I'll just switch handsets so the least frequently used ones get the worse batteries. Considering my handsets come from 2 uniden base packages + 1 handset pack (3 + 3 + 2), this was a cheap fix. BTW, the originals still had 3 working handsets after over 10 years, 1 that would work 40 minutes before needing charge. So I'm all set for another decade unless these degrade much faster, which I don't expect. ### ⭐ Dead or either do not charge. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 29, 2020* This is the second time I ordered these batteries. The first time half the batteries were dead and those that did charge did not make it very long. I haven't had time to go out and buy these at Batteries Plus so I thought I would give it another shot. Package arrived. I installed in one phone, was going to let it charge for 24 hours. I looked at phone, and the message on phone was "Low Battery". That was yesterday, today it is dead. Returning, and will go to Batteries Plus. Seems like everyone of these on Amazon has horrible reviews. ### ⭐ NOT OEM (UNIDEN) BATTERIES AS STATED IN THE TITLE! *by N***I on Reviewed in the United States on November 22, 2016* First of all, when I ordered 6 of these batteries last February, the page stated they were OEM (Uniden) batteries (which at the time of writing this review they're still stating this item is OEM). The brand of batteries we received is labeled "EBL" - they're NOT OEM Uniden batteries!I finally got around to replacing the worn-out batteries in our phones with these replacement batteries. After less than a month of use, they no longer held a charge & the phones quit working after 4-5 minutes. What a waste of money.
