## Description

Long grain rice has a long, slender kernel three to four times longer than its width. Due to its starch composition, cooked grains are more separate, light and fluffy compared to medium grain rice. STORAGE: Refrigerator or freezer storage is recommended for longer shelf life.

Review: Just got this last week - LOVE IT! - EDITED AFTER MORE EXPERIENCE - SEE BELOW FOR ADDITIONAL INFO - We tried a much more expensive organic white rice and were sorely disappointed. Unfortunately, our previous brand had disappeared from desertcart, and we decided because of the reviews to try this one out despite the 25 pound size. We took a chance and won! Taste is great, it cooks up very nicely without being particularly sticky, and there's nothing NOT to like about it (including the price in the bulk size - we just vacuum packed in smaller packages what we won't quickly use). Note: we use a Zojirushi rice cooker, though we plan to try our InstantPot as well. We'd expect good results there based on how nicely it cooked up in the Zojirushi rice cooker. EDITED: We've now used a fair amount of this rice, and are extremely pleased with it - beyond the initial excellent first impression. I suspect that when this is gone, we'll be re-ordering this brand if it's still on desertcart and is still at the very reasonable price we got it for here. Very delicious, doesn't stick nearly as much as most other brands. 2ND EDIT MORE THAN ONE YEAR LATER: We've now used the entire bag and are re-ordering the same product as I type this edited review - wouldn't want anything else. This is truly the best rice we've ever used in our 50 years of marriage. Highly recommended.

We tried a much more expensive organic white rice and were sorely disappointed. Unfortunately, our previous brand had disappeared from Amazon, and we decided because of the reviews to try this one out despite the 25 pound size. We took a chance and won! Taste is great, it cooks up very nicely without being particularly sticky, and there's nothing NOT to like about it (including the price in the bulk size - we just vacuum packed in smaller packages what we won't quickly use).
