I don’t know why, but this style of clip (where the claws that go against your scalp are more squared than curved) seem to hold my thick hair much better. I was having a lot of issues with headaches, as some of the larger clips that I was using previously get very heavy over the course of the day. These clips are smaller, lighter and more effective. None have broken yet, even though I have been using them every day for months now, but I will reorder more in case I lose any, as I never want to be without them.
