Or should I buy the 25-inch version?** A: I did. It's pretty small. **Q: What is the estimate on how long to assemble, for the average person?** A: There is no assembly (other than a couple of minutes to screw on the side handle bars (which is certainly not necessary). Oh, and if you want the drawers lined, it might take a minute or two to lay down the shelf liner that is included. It comes 99% fully assembled. Word of caution though. The top area (that opens up like in the picture) is not deep enough to hold a drill (or at least the two drills I have). When my drills are inside, the wooden top will not close. Other wise, great toolbox. Let me know if i can answer any other questions. happy to do so. **Q: do the drawers stay closed if it's not level?** A: The drawers do stay closed with a slight tilt, due to piece of rubber in drawer support rails. Plus they lock closed with a key, including the top lid. **Q: Would it be possible to bolt a small vise on the top?** A: I think you can do it, but just a small one. This tool box is not a Craftsman or a Kennedy, with that being said its good for the price and it does its job. I did a little modification on mine. First I bought some make your own dividers from Sears and put them in the top drawer. Then I bought a sheet of diamond shaped graded metal from Lowe's, cut a rectangle in the center and screwed it to the inside of the top for my magnets. d;-) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐ flawed. *by J***W on July 1, 2015* Odd that a toolbox would not have a place to store a drill. It's very large, straight, clean, heavy duty. better than i had hoped. the maple top is gorgeous. I plan on getting one for myself. The drawers slide out smooth and straight, and pop in when they're closed so they don't slide open if the box is tilted forward. The lid support hinges are very light duty and will likely need to be replaced. since one end is riveted in they'll have to be drilled out first.
