Found this replacement cable for the 8pin socket on the PSU to the 8pin connector on the Vega. Long story short the cable is keyed properly and works as intended. However, its important to note, this is looping power from one pin to another on the connector making this effectively a 75Watt cable for a 150Watt socket. With the Vega (295Watt card) it seems to run AOK with 75w from the bus, 75W from one 8pin and 150W from the other 8pin (300W) total and have had no issues under load. But for any applications where the 150W is needed on this connector I'd avoid it.
