Rather than carry around an unprotected phone for 5 days, I ordered this case (with next day delivery) as an interim solution. It did keep my screen from getting scratched and protected the phone from the knocks and bumps of everyday living, but I cannot recommend for long-term use. The Galaxy smartphone is touch sensitive, as are most smartphones. This screen does not lay flat enough to the screen to make it effective for most motions. Also, the edges came too far over the screen to allow the side-swipe quick access menu to be opened. HOWEVER, it was delivered today and the screen protector is already scratched and scuffed, as if it was a return unit. I removed the flimsy film that had air bubbles by the way, and underneath was dirt and scratches. I took a picture, not sure how well it shows. I barely got it and it's damaged. I'm really disappointed because I really like the design of the case (and I'm really picky with phone cases).
