I was excited to open this up and use it as soon as I received it. The clips are very strong and I was a little worried that they would damage the edge of my screen but they didn't. I clipped it on and without even putting a piece of paper in it, it slid off my netbook. Great idea, terrible execution. I tried over and over again to clip it in different positions and it didn't work, it just kept sliding off. It comes with a clip to mount on your computer but I'm not willing to put that kind of thing on mine. I do not recommend this for netbooks, I cant speak for it's performance on other computer but other complaints seem to mirror mine.
