I had no idea what to expect from this incense because I didn't know what Palo Santo Holy Wood actually smelled like. I'm not so sure this is my "cup of tea" as they say.Although the cones smell great in the bag (like Li Hing Mui powder), when you light one it smells like a house that caught on fire. It doesn't give off a pleasant wood scent like someone is cooking BBQ, which is what I was hoping for. To me, it literally smells like a house fire--a rather unpleasant and pungent scent to be honest.I made the mistake of lighting one in my office--thinking my coworkers would enjoy a different sort of "air freshener". Instead, I inadvertently made my coworkers cough their lungs up and one even got a headache from this.Since the cones smell pleasant enough when they aren't lit, I'll just keep it in my desk as a freshener, like you would with a linen drawer.I appreciate the seller's quick shipping and neat packaging, but the scent was too much for me. I liked the size of the cones (which is about 2x bigger than typical ones), and they do burn very well.
