I put them on a recently painted wall, a glass shower door, and a wall painted like 7 years ago and it’s been 3 days and none have fallen off any of the surfaces. I did press them down quite hard just to really ensure they stuck. I am wondering if maybe the people who they didn’t work for didn’t wipe the wall down first and it wouldn’t stick due to dust. They do tear removing from backing if you yank too hard, if you’re careful it’s easy to avoid. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality and colorful! *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 25, 2019* These clings are very colorful and good quality. Perfect for a mermaid party! I put these on my kitchen windows and they worked wonderfully. I could move them around easily if I didn’t push too hard when I was originally applying them. However when I went to take them off, they were pretty stuck on there. It left quite a bit of residue on the windows that took quite a bit of cleaning to get off. I would never put these on painted walls (in my opinion) would definitely peel the paint off upon removal. I really did like them though. Playful! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gorgeous *by T***N on Reviewed in the United States on April 9, 2020* These are high quality metallic sheen stickers that look amazing. They are thin, so they can fold easily and that can affect the sheen. Also because they are thin and very detailed, you need to be careful when peeling them off the sheet so you dont damage the design (think of how you can tell a sticker has been peeled off and reapplies somewhere) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/133498540-mermaid-wall-decals-girls-bedroom-decor-mermaid-party-supplies-peel](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/133498540-mermaid-wall-decals-girls-bedroom-decor-mermaid-party-supplies-peel) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
