Since I neglected to take breaks, walk and strech I now have issues with my lower lumbar- I do see a chiropractor (twice a month) and my back does feel better however I still find natural ways to prevent sciatic painSo with that said, when I first purchased this product I didnt think much of it, nor did I do my research before purchasing--I literally bought this product on a whim. I have to say I was very impressed, I layed on this mat bare skin...even though it was painful at first, as well as the feeling of pinching sensations, after 5-10 mins my muscles relaxed. Laying on this mat reminded me of physical therapy when my masseuse did the same thing, targeting points on my body until my muscles relaxed, only with the mat its a little more intense as this is acupuncture based. I feel like laying on this mat before going to bed makes my body rest better at night- bloods flowing and my pain subsides (note: if you're experiencing back pain, please see a chiropractor as this mat should only be used as a temporary solution).
