Unfortunately, we had issues with other bibs where, when wet, they would chafe his chest and neck and simply make things worst. Even other fabric bibs were a bit rough on his skin whether we used jells or not. These bibs were a god send for us. They have soft fabric on the outside with even softer, almost fleece, feeling fabric on the inside. They'd absorb all the drooling, soft foods, etc. and still remain 'easy' on the skin. Not to mention, the various colors looked great and matched all of his outfits. As always, we're hesitant to machine wash our fabric bibs. But no problems here. They wash out just fine and hold their own. Overall 5 star plus experience.
