    "Donkey Tail" - A Love Story

Hi I'm Penny & this is the Truth, the Whole Truth and nothing but the Truth:My sharp teeth chew everything. Rugs, pillows, my own puppy pads & even the COUCH (pic 4). But not Donkey! Donkey, I love & even my brother, "Wookie", loves Donkey.Somehow, something really sharp punctured the squeakers (after a really really long time) and mommy made a really BAD dumb move & gave Donkey a bath. Donkey stopped squeaking and it made me sad. (pic1)For 6 weeks me n Wookie gave Donkey CPR (pic2). We finally "called it" on Thursday & we were even sadder.Today, after I got my hair done, I came home n I had a new Donkey and it SQUEAKS REALLY GOOD!! Now I'm so happy I can't stop squeaking Donkey so mommy can take the tags off. (pic3)Mommy says to tell you to buy MANY BACKUPS to hide (whatever that means)Thank you for sharing my Donkey Tail

We have two golden retrievers -- Teddy & Daisy. Daisy really doesn't care much for toys; she'd rather watch a good TV show. But Teddy ADORES toys. The only problem is he generally destroys them within a week (who am I kidding -- generally within a couple of days). But not Donkey. Teddy adores donkey. He has just decapitated him, but he is walking around with the head in his mouth. This is, I should point out, his third donkey. Each seems to last about a year, and then he goes into an extended period of mourning until Christmas Day when Donkey magically reappears, brand spanking new! I can't recommend him more!

Write out of the box this thing was disappointing. It was a very cute looking toy but very very small, thin fragile material, and only two little squeakers. One did not work more than one squeeze. After only one day of use by my shih tzu, who only has a couple of teeth, it is falling apart, doesn't speak, and he has no more interest. This has to be the worst toy I've ever gotten him. Guess I am better off just buying dog toy somewhere that I can see what I am getting first.
