There are cheaper alternatives out there but they are not as comfortable (if worn under a shirt). After the only first few hours after using you feel a difference, it helps majorly with neck strain that you weren’t even aware of! This is not a brace, but a reminder/support for you to straighten your own self out. If you keep this in mind you can wear it longer than the few hours they recommend, and at the end of the day it’s a real relief taking it off (not that it’s uncomfortable but you can give your shoulders a real nice stretch!).
