I can’t work out how you attach the straps to the float. On the photo and instructions there seems to be a bit missing?** A: You have 2 straps: 1 that goes around your waist and one that attaches to the buoy. Take the one that doesn't attach to your waist. It has a little sewn loop on one side. Take the opposite end and feed it through the clear plastic loop on the buoy. Then, feed the rest of the strap through the loop that has just been created and pull it back on yourself. Hope this helps. **Q: Description says swim buoy has a dry storage compartment separate from inflatable air chamber but no opening to access this? It’s sealed shut?!!!** A: I find swim buoy is fine for casual wild swimming. It inflates through a simple mouthpiece with a twist valve. The storage compartment is a bag integral with the air chamber, i.e, they share a common wall. It is closed with a standard 'dry bag' fitting, i.e. you fold over the top several times then close the clasp. Sounds complicated but works well. As a precaution I put my phone in its own waterproof bag before putting into the swim buoy. I could then use it while in the water. **Q: The blow nozzle doesn’t twist shut so when I inflate it, it goes back down again. Am I doing something wrong?** A: I think that yours must be faulty. When I blow mine up and, quickly, twist the little white top it shuts off the air and it stays inflated.
