So glad I found this one. Here's a few reasons:NUTRITION: You get 16g of protein in a scoop, with only 10g of carbs - just 3g of sugar. Numbers like this often feel impossible to find in your typical protein aisle, especially for something non dairy and vegan. Unless of course, it tastes like crap. But of course...TASTE: It doesn't taste like crap. It's delicious. If you've had a bunch of different plant protein powders, you probably find yourself plugging your nose, holding your breath, dumping it straight down your throat in pure terror that it might hit your tastebuds. This chickpea protein solves that problem. You can actually enjoy your protein shake.INGREDIENTS: The ingredients list is pretty shocking. Plant based protein with low sugar, but without an ingredients list that is 500 words long. You don't have to fill your body with garbage just to get quality protein. No artificial sweeteners, no words you can't pronounce. Just simple nutrition.I'm really really impressed by this protein. Give it a shot. There is another brand that I normally use which is way better than this one. I have a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics so I’m very particular with ingredients. My husband and I also have gluten allergies, we’re sensitive to dairy so the whey protein shakes kill us! I’m also sensitive to random chemicals and additives so we eat very plant based and clean. Eden is amazing because you can read all the ingredients! Chickpeas are an amazing source of protein and fiber giving Eden 16 g of protein and 5g fiber and since they use monkfruit to sweeten it there’s only 3g sugar. This is amazing for vegan protein!!! Very impressed. I’ve tried so many that have great nutrition but lack in taste and texture (chalky, flavorless) or they taste good but lack the clean ingredients.
