I bought it to use in bed so I wasn't going to bed with a kinked neck every night. I LOVE it! I do have an older, pretty small kindle. I feel like the clamps to hold it are pretty strong. I actually keep my kindle case on while holding it with this and it is great. It only falls if I knock it really hard or forget it is there and hit it with my head. Haha.
