It will mix just fine with water, but water is more of a carrier than a medium, so once the water is gone or dried your pigment might not stay, so you will need something to provide a "glue" like function to hold the powder in place once the water dries. **Q: Can these be used to color grout for mosaics?** A: I use it for resin, it should work in grout but I haven’t tried **Q: How many grams are each bottle** A: There is either 14 or 21 grams in each bottle.
