They do not fit the Albert or German fingering clarinets. **Q: Will this mouth piece fit an old Vito or Bundy clarinet?** A: It probably will but some of the older vintage clarinets do have a slightly smaller diameter than the current standard that may have to be addressed. It is a simple fix but should be done by a professional. This will not affect the performance of the mouthpiece, however, if you do have to use this fix. **Q: Does it fit Selmer 1400 clarinet?** A: It's a standard clarinet mouthpiece, and it fit's any standard clarinet, including Selmer 1400. You need to apply a cork grease each time, especially for the first couple of weeks, because the new cork might be a bit tight which make it harder to assemble. **Q: Had a cheap mouthpiece that worked fine, wanted to upgrade so i bought this one. Why is it much harder to get sound out?** A: The opening between the reed and the mouthpiece is larger than on a cheaper mouthpiece which can make creating an initial tone harder. The benefit is that this allows for you to have greater range and give greater expressiveness to the tone but doing so requires a stronger embouchure. At least that's how it was taught to me.
