One would expect a tap or die to last forever in this case. I am not sure about the larger sizes, but as I do quite a bit of work with 3mm, That is what was most needed and the tap broke on extraction of the first hole.This was with very soft PLA plastic and all I can say is I must have had a bad tap or something as I quite often use a standard 3mm screw to clean the threads and they work fine but "burns" the thread in rather than cutting any anomalies out of the hole.I hope the seller reads this and at least attempts to make it right. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Don't Rush Buy. Its Metric. *by R***. on Reviewed in the United States on August 24, 2019* I rushed to buy this item not reading completely only to find out it was metric, my fault.Although I haven’t been able to use all the taps yet, I have used the smallest one to tap about 12 holes using a drill. It cuts threads with ease and it didn’t break, only time will tell how good these really are. All in all, if I was looking for a metric tap set, I would definitely buy this one.
