They are a little tricky to inflate because the valve is sealed when it comes. The other reviews I believe are wrong, they are not sealed permanently shut, they are designed to self seal after you inflate so you have to just be very careful when you insert the helium valve, but they do inflate. The only one that doesn’t work completely is buzz. He’s so big heavy, that if you’re doing an at home helium tank and don’t have high float he inflates, but only floats I would say about 4 to 5 feet in the air. I ended up actually really loving that, because my twins could play with him and when they let go of the string he didn’t float all the way to the ceiling and they liked throwing him up in the air and having him float back down to them.
