Holds a 15" laptop without issue. Stands firmly on a desk and grips the laptop well. The machining of the metal is slightly rough at places (especially the inner edges of the connection points), though it is unlikely to cut your skin. Another sign the production quality has room for improvement (at least for this instance): though the two lifting arms look identical, there is actually a small but noticeable difference in length and/or angle. However, the laptop will sit level as long as you fit one particular arm to the right and the other to the left (but not the other way round). While it is a flaw, it is partly compensated by the affordable price (£20). Material is very solid, and the size easily accommodates my 16" Macbook Pro. The protective rubber pads seem decent quality - they aren't foam so shouldn't degenerate.The only thing that lets it down is the JASVE logo printed on the lower panel. Quite disappointing as the photos in the description don't have it on. I've left it 24 hours to see if I could get used to it, but it's constantly in my eyesight.
