Has a nice flow and is cool in HOT weather! I DO wish they had not sewn their brand label in thread to match their label (red) rather than my kaftan (navy blue). It was stitched over and over in each of the four corners and shows on the outside back neckline quite clearly! This would be even better with in-seam rayon pockets (which would be invisible with the wide outsells). The solid color is great with pearls, scarves, etc. On me, this comes to my ankles (as I want) and is loose-fitting and flying. I am 5'3" and a bit under 160lb. The tassels hang right to the floor and drag a bit behind me, but it's so darn comfortable that I just don't care! It's cut like a CAFTAN: NO SHAPE! Lay it flat and it looks like a twin bed sheet folded in half, and head and arm holes cut/stitched in. So, if expecting shapliness in this garment, look elsewhere. I've seen reviewers complaining that the sides weren't hemmed...They aren't supposed to be. This garment would fit and be comfortable on a much taller and/or larger lady than myself. I'd say you'd have to be 5'5" to keep the tassels off the floor, and there is ample room across the rest of the garment for chest, abdomen, and backside. I loved it so much I just had to buy one for my mother, also 5'3" and somewhat heavier and curvier than myself. It's not slippery like nylon or something, but not cottony/gauzey, either. Also, when you look at the picture of this garment, they make it look like it has some degree of shape, which it does not. The necklace they show in the pose, makes it look much better, too. The construction of this piece is extremely simple. It is basically a large, long rectangle, with a hemmed neckline at the fold, a seam ran up either side, and fringe at the bottom. I am uncertain if I will keep this or return it.
