This tool will easily Cut Steel, Cast Iron, Ductile Iron, Stainless Steel, Aluminum Pipe. If you have any other questions, please let us know! **Q: I have 1/4” steel pipe will this cut through that?** A: We purchased this unit as we needed another to keep work flow moving for a job as we have a RIDGID one also and have cut Sch10, Sch40 & Sch80 pipe no problems. Only thing I did was swap out the rollers with REED cutting wheels. **Q: I’m assuming it won’t cut rigid pipe?** A: This pipe cutter will cut cast iron pipe.
