I purchased this to save me time making beef jerky. I buy 7 pound roasts to slice and wanted them thinner. This works great and saves me tons of time. It is easy to clean up and so far it works great. The blade comes out easily and I wipe down the main part. So easy. I also found out it slices sourdough bread perfectly! I also bake my own sourdough and wanted thinner slices, this works like a dream. Very satisfied with this purchase. I’ve had it around 6 months now.

I needed a slicer to slice hundreds of loaves of sourdough a week but couldn't afford to spend on the highest quality one that my money could buy. I have sliced thousands of rustic crusty sourdough loaves so far and this thing is still going strong even with being ran continuously for 2 hours at a time weekly. I definitely recommend if you are looking for a reliable budget slicer.
