## Description

desertcart.com: RVLock V4 Keyless RV Door Lock, Full Metal, for Campers/5th Wheels/Trailers | Premium weatherproof Keyless Entry Door Lock with Backlit Code Keypad & High Security Protection : Automotive

Review: This is a very well built part. - Exceptional quality. Installs in minutes and works perfectly right out of the box. I love the options of keys, pin code, fobs. The handles themselves are metal and solid. The interior manual latch moves with a light touch but stays in place. Its an RV not fort Knox but this lock is about as good as you will get. I wasn't going to initially but I might go ahead and key alike the other locks too. The milled keys are WAY better than traditional cut keys. The only downside is the expense... quite honestly its still a good value.
Review: Great purchase - This a solid built lock. Very easy to install, and easy to program.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How long does the battery last?**
A: Batteries typically last 6 to 9 months with regular use. Turning off the fob option when not in use can extend battery life. Additionally, the RV door lock also alerts you when batteries are low.

**Q: What makes RVLock more secure than others?**
A: RVLock uses custom designed keys and cylinders with thousands of unique key codes that are pick resistant; unlike standard RV locks that use only a handful of generic keys. This drastically reduces the risk of someone else having a matching key.

**Q: What is the silent feature?**
A: This allows the lock to not make any beeps when entering the code and unlocking.

This a solid built lock. Very easy to install, and easy to program.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Much better than our previous programmable lock
*by S***S on August 2, 2026*

We used this to replace a Bauer programmable lock that inconsistently worked. Number one, the Bauer did not include remotes. Often times the pen pad would not work. We purchased this new lock as it had three separate ways of redundancy to get into the trailer. Keypad, key, and remote. Plenty of options to make sure you don’t get locked out of your rig. The new lock was easy to install, fit perfectly on our RV, and only took about 20 minutes total to do. The quality fills sturdy and solid. The lock mechanism slides perfectly and fills robust. Overall, we are very impressed with this new lock. It also gives a great chime, letting you know that you’ve locked or unlocked it with the key fob. Lastly, it has an illuminated back lit numbers that makes it easy to see when lighting conditions are not optimal.
