My griddle is a stainless though. I also used these on some pots and they were helpful. I found some great videos on YouTube that helped me! **Q: Can you safely use this on a porcelain cast iron grill grate?** A: I would not suggest using this pad. It would probably scratch the porcelain. Check with your manufacturer. **Q: Has this product changed? We've used it in our restaurant for 5 years, but the pads are now lasting 1 cleaning at best before disintegrating.** A: I've had my awhile and they are still holding up. Probably don't use them as much as you do so I really can't equate. **Q: How many pads are there?** A: 15 But they are extremely durable and can clean a hot grill multiple times.
