It’s lightweight with full tang and arrived razor sharp. The wooden handle has a flawless finish and good feel to it. There is no doubt that this knife will give years of use and hold up to daily use. This is my second Perkin knife and probably not my last. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Great Buy although the sheath could be improved *by O***N on July 14, 2021* The knife is strong, well made, and came razor sharp. It has great ergonomics and feels like a natural extension of the hand. Although more of a weapon than a utility knife, it is sharp and sturdy enough for emergency use as a camp or general purpose knife. The unsharpened "base" of the blade gives the knife strength and the fact that the sharpened portion is slightly less than 4" could render it legal in some knife averse jurisdictions. The sheath is well made and attractive, but instead of a fixed belt loop it has one suspending the sheath itself from the loop by means of a metal ring. While this arrangement is comfortable and secure on level ground, the knife is more prone to fall out if one is climbing, descending, or moving over rough surfaces. This is the only reason I gave it a 4 star rating.
