Review: This really works! - My poor basset has suffered 4 years with dreadful pseudomonas , numerous visits to vets costing hundreds of pounds...lab testing etc....saw this as a last resort but i remember my late mum who worked in a chemist years ago telling me about gensiun violet and how good it was so seeing this i had to try it, after 2 weeks Barkleys ears are nearly healed, no discharge, smell or weeping sores, this has been the worst experience of my life for my poor dog but we are in the mend! This is priceless!!

**Q: does this dry the ear canal as well as clean it**
A: Hi Yes it does as the alcohol base evaporates and leaves behind a fine film of boric acid which helps to keep the ear dry and problem free.

**Q: What is the measurement of the bottle**
A: It holds 50ml of ear treatment.  The bottle is 3" high and has a girth of 4.5" with a screw off cap and nozzle measuring 1.75"  Mine came from Peake Pet Care on Amazon.  It really works and my dog finds it soothing.

**Q: can this be used on cats too?**
A: Sorry dont know about cats but found not very good for my dogs ears in the end got some cleaner from vets cheaper too and find that works well for my dog

**Q: Can anyone say what are the chemical contents of this solutio .my dog is currently on Surolan but this is prescription only and I’d like to use compar**
A: Surolan is an antibiotic for infection.  Quistel is fantastic for preventing the infection !  I use it 1-2 times per week to gently clean the ear -
Just a soaked cotton pad and wipe around.  Highly recommend - ALL NATURAL PRODUCT ❤️

My poor basset has suffered 4 years with dreadful pseudomonas , numerous visits to vets costing hundreds of pounds...lab testing etc....saw this as a last resort but i remember my late mum who worked in a chemist years ago telling me about gensiun violet and how good it was so seeing this i had to try it, after 2 weeks Barkleys ears are nearly healed, no discharge, smell or weeping sores, this has been the worst experience of my life for my poor dog but we are in the mend! This is priceless!!
