This grape must starts with handpicked Trebbiano grapes that are pressed for the sweet juice.  The juice is then delicately heated for two days before being aged in chestnut wood barrels.  It ages in these barrels for four years before being bottled.  This superb grape must has a dark color and fruity aroma.  The flavor is sweet with the delicate flavor of the grapes bursting on the palate.  It can be used in a variety of applications such as a sauce for roasted game birds and poultry, a topping for cakes or as an accompaniment to aged cheeses such as Fondo di Toscana Tuscan Sheep's Cheese.  This grape must can also be used as a marinade for meats or seafood.
