They really do write very nicely. No problems with scratchiness, ink blobs, or dry tips. Pen diameter is a bit more than standard Bic pens, making them comfortable to hold. The tip of the body unscrews. Not sure why but might be handy. Body is light weight plastic that has just enough texture to comfortably hold. The ink doesn’t smear on Apica paper, nor does it bleed through. It is water proof. These are now my daily writers.
