Literally left gouges on the wall from each letter sticking. **Q: Does paint peeling off during removal of stickers?** A: Yes.. 💯 yes. Was terrible trying to remove them. Definitely don't try to put this up by yourself. It took me and my husband to do thisSo, they have a big giant paper that lays it out on the way which you have to tape to the wall. Then they number code the different pieces like a puzzle. And you have to basically ripe out the paper to put that piece in. Its a pain and then god for bid you put the piece in the wrong place and have to take it off. The greatest challenge has been getting the photos I wanted in the proper sizes to fit. For example, 9 x 9 is not a common photo size. Every size I could choose on Collage or Shutterfly or Vistaprint did not allow for this size. Same thing for the 7 x 6. The sizes of the spaces are very "unique," so be aware of that when you order this piece. We had to trim some photos and then I had to use PhotoShop for resizing the photos I wanted to use in the odd sized spaces. If you have a color printer, photo paper, and PhotoShop, you should be able to work around it.
