These 2-inch gauze sponges arrived sterilely packed, tear open easily, fit perfectly over small sutured wounds, don’t stick to intact skin, and they breathe well. In our case, I used a little dab of antibiotic ointment, placed the sponge, and sealed it with a Tegaderm adhesive dressing (that I also obtained here on desertcart). At our follow-up visit, the doctor couldn’t have been happier with the neatness and integrity of these dressings. It kept the wounds clean and healthy and allowed for rapid healing. I was also pleased with the price. This box was more than I needed, inexpensive, less than at my local drugstore and arrived right to my front door.
