Where it failed was where every brand would fail - my roommates dog was on the leash, got excited, wrapped himself around the leg and bolted. It ripped the aluminum leg in half. I rigged it up and got it to work again (barely) and my roommate was saying he would pay to replace it. Instead of having him pay for a full replacement, I decided to reach out to the company and see if there were any replacement parts available, save him some money. After a couple back-and-forth emails they sent a photo and I pointed out what I needed. They said it was going to ship from China and it was fairly expensive ($50 total) but I figure that's cheaper than an entire canopy! Fast forward 7 weeks - it arrived today! It was a full entire leg, not just the bottom piece I needed, which makes me feel even better about the $50 I spent, because now I have more spare parts if needed. I recently moved to SC, and this will be put up in the backyard and put to USE as the sun out here is brutal and much different than what I'm used to from the PNW. I can edit my review after more usage but I know it won't change in a few months - this canopy was the best canopy purchase I have made in the last 15 years and I am extremely happy. Great purchase for the $$ We are going to be buying their canopy with walls to set up at markets for my girl's business selling baked goods and macarons. I utilize my 12x12 enclosure for a workout room during these difficult times. I attached the 12x12 tarps to the inside of the canopy. I wired shop lamps with a surge protector and even a oil lamp with cement board for flooring. My wife even uses it after negative initial comments. I’m a Genius! Bowflex and row machine and bench. **Q: After initial setup, can you leave the canopy attached while folding it down?** A: The canopy technically can stay attached, I leave mine attached. However if you plan on packing the canopy and frame back into the bag for transport or storage, you should separate them. When the frame folds down it can cause pinch points which can stress and possibly even tear the canopy, so the manufacturer recommends always removing the canopy while not in use, however I only partially collapse the frame on mine and am sure to pull the canopy material away from pinch points at the same time. **Q: What is the height to the bottom of the canopy (not including the peak)?** A: I would say about 5 1/2 feet at the bottom of the canvas then probably 6 inches up to the start of the incline to the 8 ft peak Plenty of head room. If you're on the fence, pull the trigger on this one and you will not be disappointed! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality & Easy setup *by M***2 on August 3, 2023* I needed shade for some new plants which were getting too much summer sun for their small root ball. I also needed a small canopy. So, I decided to get the 6' x 6' canopy. After researching many canopy tents, I bought the Master Canopy (which was 6.6' x 6.6' feet). It arrived on time and was well packaged. It weighed about 29 pounds. It came in its own zippered case with wheels & handles built-in for easy transporting. I opened it and took everything out. The instructions were on the case (so I cannot lose them), although this is easy enough that you will not need the instructions after setting it up the first time. After watching the video's (here & You Tube), I set it up. I opened the frame part way, I then put the tent cover over the frame and then continued to open the frame fully. You can select 3 different heights by moving the tent up and down the poles by the lock holes to make the tent even or, if you prefer, can tilt the top (where one side is lower than the other side is higher). This Canopy Tent includes all the stakes & rope tie-downs you need to anchor the Canopy. However, I knew I wanted to sometimes put this up on a concrete patio (where I could not use stakes/ropes). I have a windy space but the canopy did not move in 20 mph wind with no anchors at all. The built-in roof vent helped, no doubt. Still, we get gusts much higher, so I added 80 pounds of weights, or 20 pounds at each corner. The weights I used were US Weight Tailgater Canopy Weights Set of 4 with two sets. Each weight is 10 pounds. With two sets I got a carry strap with each set and carried 40 pounds with 20 pounds on each side of my body. Then repeat for the second set. I wasn't strong enough to carry 80 pounds at one time. The weight fit the Master Canopy legs perfectly. My baby plants are well shaded now. I can also adjust the position of the Canopy as the sun changes elevation through the year, although I plan to take down the Canopy once the weather cools off. I'm very happy with the ease and quality of this Canopy and recommend it. P.S. In the photo, there is one plant in the sun, a dwarf Orange Tree which needs full sun. Shaded plants include a Gardenia and Heavenly Bamboo. In case you are wondering why there is new fence behind the tent, last Winter our 40+ foot Cedar tree fell on our neighbors house, taking out our fence and landscaping.
