Kershaw’s sci-fi-inspired Decibel pocketknife is sleek, extremely modern and comfortably lightweight. Slim, linear design combined with quality materials creates an unbeatable knife. The blade is made of 8Cr13MoV quality, stainless steel and coated with a dark matte-gray, titanium-carbo nitride. The handle is stainless steel, with the same dark gray coating. For a pop of color, the aluminum pivot collar and backspace are both anodized in a bright blue. Reversible clip provides ambidextrous pocket carry, while the frame lock provides safety, security when the blade is in use. Handle window on the knife provides a unique look as well as lessens the weight of the knife, which comes in at an impressive 2.7 ounces. The Decibel is a fully manual knife, but can be opened one-handed using the thumb stud. **Q: Any spring assist on this one? I see that it says one-hand opening but it's not super clear.**
A: No spring assist but opens very easy almost too easy. When I have it hanging from my belt or pocket sometimes it just come open on its own.

**Q: What country is it made in?**
A: This product is designed in the USA and made in China. Our China-made products receive additional QC before they leave the factory, then again when they arrive in Oregon.

What a cool design. Kershaw has been such a great maker for years with the Onion Leak being a integral design that has become the iconic design for this extremely excellent company. This knife is a very simple and unique designed edc. I always enjoy finding a new style from an old maker that is still super reliable yet with a different look and blade design. Great for my collection and for the price this is just great. You will definitely get some comments when you bring this blade out for use. Quality Cool

Great knife as an EDC. The only problem that I have with this knife is that the knife is pretty hard to open but after some usage it does get easier. Great as a gift to a friend
