Who hasn't met a child who wants to play with the tape dispenser? This let's them play with tape to their hearts desire! The pages are heavy weight and glossy so removing the tape is easy and is a second activity for kids to do. Opening the package, there is a VERY strong chemical smell that took several days to dissipate. So plan ahead for that. I'm pretty sure the smell was coming from the tape. When I ordered this, I also ordered an additional package of paper tape/washi tape from a different company in even more colors and that tape didn't have any odor. The included tape is easy to tear for me as an adult but it's a little tricky for my 4yo.
