NOTE, this is not a Secret Labs chair, so if that is what you are looking for go buy one. He loves it and it has held up with him treating it like any other 11 y/o would for a week now. It took nearly an hour for me to bully my way through. If I didn't have back and knee injuries, I am sure it would have been easier on me. Still, I would suggest having someone else help when it comes time to put the back of the chair onto the base.That said, the chair is SO comfortable once you sit in it for the first time. It only takes a few seconds to adjust the lumbar and neck supports as they are connected only to themselves and slide freely. I had a bad habit of leaning forward when writing or gaming, but if you set the chair in its most upright position, it alleviates so much stress from your body. It's a super comfortable chair and my son loves it but now after just 2 months of use the joint connecting the back to the seat completely ripped out of the chair and it is no longer usable. It's never even been reclined so I don't see why it would break from just normal everyday use.
