It means it will clean coffee maker 4 times. Pour liquid to empty up to the mark level. It works very well. I am using since last 4 years. **Q: Is this made in Italy?** A: Yes, made in Italy **Q: Can it be used in any espresso machine?** A: The ingredients is Lactic Acid. Unlike citric acid – another acknowledged descaler – lactic acid does not corrode metal parts, it is less abrasive and it does not lead to cracking owing to tension in plastic materials.
