    A Gentle Gift of Insight

*by C***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 5, 2012*

Many of us who come to Family Constellation work in the United States come with a bit of skepticism regarding the concept of ancestors influencing or present lives. Francesca Mason-Boring, strongly influenced by the culture of her Native American mother, had no such hesitation. Because of this, her experience with Constellations had an ease and familiarity that quickly led to profound and deep work in her own life and with the participants in her workshops. The insights in Connecting to Our Ancestral Past have led me to a deeper understanding of the Family Constellation work I've been doing for the last seven years. Mason-Boring's gentle approach to the concepts, and to her readers, has inspired me to conduct my own workshops differently--with more heart. To those familiar with Constellation work, this book is a gift of depth and breadth. To those new to the work, it is a great and very readable introduction.
