Available in a variety of forms, the balls may be solid, or contain clappers or chimes within. Other, larger versions made of plastic encasing lesser balls are called Duotone balls. They are used by inserting them into the vagina and using the Kegel muscles to hold them in, stimulating movement and/or vibration. I started just out of curiosity, and for fun, I did not think it would have such a great effect on my body other than... fun. But it did.Geisha balls not only makes you work your pelvic muscles and strengthen them, it also makes you aware of how those muscles work, and how to use them, as you are not supposed to “push them inside” but train your muscles to “suck them in”. Then you have to figure out how to contract your muscles to keep them in place. This can improve your sex life a lot. It is also supposed to help strengthen your pelvic floor after having a baby, and can help with incontinence problems too.I started with the bigger kind, the one that are linked by a little thread and that you can pull out. Then I tried smaller sizes. I needed a new challenge, as I did not have to work to hold those in.These “pleasure ben wa balls” are really small (0,75") and really heavy (28 g each) (see pics below). I've never seen geisha balls that small and heavy, really. I can not, so far, use them without one falling out. It means I finally found what I need to keep training, it's great!They are golden, very smooth and well made. I like the metal feeling of it, because when you clean them before putting them in (as you are always supposed to do), they get warmed up by the water and are more comfortable to use. You can clean them with soap and water, or use special toy cleaner. They come with a cute velvet pouch to put them away.They are not linked by a thread nor have one to pull them out, like the beginner kind. So if you have never used them before, and you are not sure if you will be able to get them out by yourself, maybe you should pick another kind.If you already love using geisha balls, go ahead, they are really cool and a lot of fun! The balls had no discoloration when I took them out of the package. I ordered the loose balls because the ones one the sting/cord are not as much of a challenge for me any longer. These are much smaller and heavier than I had expected but they are not too difficult for me to use.In many cases in sexual wellness items, smaller is better; this product is the opposite. You need to have experience using these to be able to use them to the fullest extent or may get frustrated.
