Review: Good for roses and protecting your watch! - Very happy with these. I have very short fingers, yet wide and most gloves are ridiculous on me. These were a good fit! Live the length and I’ve been table to trim my roses with ease. Occasionally a thorn will poke through the material, but it’s rare. They have held up through mud and being hosed off multiple times. Other reviewers are correct though, they are not waterproof. But my other gloves aren’t either so I don’t really mind. I also bought these because the shorter gloves don’t cover my Apple Watch and I was tired of getting dirt on it. Problem solved!

I got these to replace long gloves I used in my garden, especially working, clipping my roses and they've worked out very well. I have a hard time finding gloves that fit as I, a girl, inherited my Dad's broad hands. I think my fingers are also wider but shorter than many. (see pic). This is important because these gloves fit me really well and they cost less than $20. My last pair lasted several years but the replacement cost was over $60 so I was very happy to find these gloves and even happier to try them on and find they're a great fit (a lot of it is I don't have an inch of empty space at the end of each finger. :-) Makes me very happy. Great gloves for a great price.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for small hands

Unlike some other reviewers, I would not size up -- these are just right for my hands. The four fingers are just the right length, and the thumb has a bit of extra space at the end. (My hand measurements: base of palm to middle fingertip = 6¼"; base of thumb across palm to base of pinky = 3½"; wrist circumference = 6¾"; wrist to inner elbow = 8"; ring size = 5). The wrist and the gauntlet are a little looser than I would like, although maybe I will appreciate that when it's sweatshirt weather. The end of the gauntlet is a little less than 3" from my elbow. The lower halves of my forearms are currently covered in poison ivy rashes. The gloves cover the rashed area completely, so hopefully they'll prevent this from happening again, otherwise, I'll look for one that goes all the way to the elbow. These are a good material/thickness for weeding and general gardening, but they are not thorn-proof. ----------------------------- Updating almost 2 years later: I changed the 4-star review to 5. I am very pleased with these gloves and have just ordered another pair. (The old ones are still going strong; the 2nd pair is for when the 1st pair is in the wash.) I was using a electric hedge trimmer recently, and absent-mindedly started it up without putting my left hand on the safety bar. My pinkie finger was caught in the whirring blades for a second or two. The glove saved me from losing a fingertip, and I ended up with just a little bruise (and a lesson learned).
