You will also need a chain. Get the chain, you don't want to have to open this thing up again. **Q: Will this fit a 93 yj?** A: Yes, I used it in a 93 myself. **Q: How do determine if the t-case has the narrow bearing or not? Does it come with a parts identification sheet?** A: Im not real sure about a narrow bearing. I can tell you I rebuilt my 231J transfer case out of a 2000 cherokee xj and I had 2 extra bearings and also an extra seal. So my guess would be that it comes with the parts required for all the 231 transfer cases. I did purchase this exact kit. I don't think it shows it but this kit also includes the shift fork plastic pieces. So don't order them separate like I did :) .
