This is my first JBG oracle and I am considering adding additional ones to my collection. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Will You Hear The Mermaids Call? *by A***A on October 29, 2018* I just received my Myths & Mermaids Oracle Of The Water Deck, and I absolutely love it! I'm a fan of Jasmine Becket Griffith's work, and once again I'm left breathless. This is another beautifully made deck, and each card has a detailed message be it for good or as a warning. The guidebook is nice, I just wish that it had a couple more base spreads added but it's not a big deal. The book still gives detailed messages and helps guide you towards the answers you seek. The cards are colorful and yet dark, but I felt it brought balance as if going through the calm before the storm sorta thing. There's also little sea symbols on the bottom of each card, and some of them are black, while others are blue. The book states that those colors can be used for yes or no readings, such as black meaning no, and blue for yes. I thought that was a neat little touch. I felt instantly connected to these cards once I opened the box. As I flipped through each card I felt calm yet curious. So I ended up doing a reading for myself, and out of the only two readings available in the book I chose "The Wave". My reading completely resonated with my situation, and I'm still gathering a feeling for how to interpret the cards so that I may better understand them when reading in the future.
