**Q: Can this be mounted in the bottom of a tank?**
A: it is wall mounted or ceilling mounted.  if you mounted in the bottom of the tank, it will not shut off. so i suppose not.

**Q: What specific plastic is this made of? chemically i mean is it hdpe? or ??**
A: POM

**Q: Has anyone used this float valve for the back of the tank of a Keurig K50 coffee maker or the like? If so, what was the results?**
A: I used it in my Keurig (not sure of model number)  it has worked great.  Have not had to add water since and no leaks.

**Q: Can this be mounted on the side of a tank that has no lid?**
A: I suppose if you want to have it as an eyesore in tank and you can rig it, or have a hole drilled in the tank.
