I went ahead and rolled the dice on this fully expecting to receive something that was made to some metric standard that used a European electrical supply but to my amazement I got a pool pump configured almost identically to the existing one. However this one has a metal housing for the motor unlike the cheap Intex plastic pump has. It is a little more powerful than the old one and makes about the same amount of noise. In times like these where pools and pool equipment are outrageous I am happy to say that the pump was way less money than what I could find anywhere else and actually works. It uses 11/2 threaded inlet/outlets so I was able to use the hardware on the existing hoses to hook it up. The four bolt holes on the bottom flange even lined up with the bracket of the sand filter tank I have so I unbolted the old one and slapped the new one in right where it had been . When I saw the price compared to everything else I was VERY sceptical but it is indeed a pump like the picture shows. A heavy-duty hose with that fiber cross-cross net (That molded fiber meshing used for the high water pressure - to prevent bursting) inside of the walls of the hose itself can connected from the output port up to a swimming pool tank. **Q: bestway flowclear model #58500e Will this work for that one** A: If you are referring to the Bestway Flowclear's filter tank, is should be able to work if the original pump that came with the setup had the closest operating specs on it just like the Xtremepower.
